The Vampire Diaries season 3 continues on March 15 with episode 16, "1912," and it's going to be introducing Cassidy Freeman as Sage. There's a month-long break, but at least fans don't have to wait that long for a preview of the big flashback episode.
Vampire Diaries Season 3 Episode 16 "1912" Promo
This episode has been teased for a while, as Smallville's Cassidy Freeman is guest starring as a vampire, Sage, both in flashbacks and in the present-day Mystic Falls. It looks like she could shake some things up, as she certainly did back in 1912 for Damon. If you're one who likes the flashbacks on this show, this episode looks to be one that you're going to love.
The Vampire Diaries season 3 episode 16 promo for "1912" (below) begins with Stefan asking Damon if he remembers Sage. That seems to be a stupid question, especially since Damon says that she was the one to show him how to have a good time. That's right, it's time to delve into Damon's past and see just how Sage changed him and made him the Damon many love.
Back in 1912, Sage was quite the boxer and obviously caught Damon's eye. She taught him, "A woman isn't just for food. She's for pleasure," and watched as he fed. A series of clips show that there was plenty of fun to be had in 1912. Sage's "Now that's more like it" ends the promo.
The preview gives a look at Sage in the past, but you have to wonder what will happen when she shows up in the present. Unsurprisingly after this first video look at her, Sage is out for herself, but apparently she doesn't have bad intentions exactly. However, at the same time, it's not like she can automatically be trusted either. With what's going on in Mystic Falls, though, could she end up being a much-needed asset?
